How Our Values Work

Every player in our database is assigned a dynasty value on a 0–10,000 scale for both Superflex and 1QB formats. These values are derived from:

  • Community consensus — Aggregated from major dynasty platforms and expert rankings
  • Trade market activity — Real trade data from dynasty leagues
  • Age-adjusted projections — Younger players with long career runways are valued higher
  • Production and opportunity — Target share, snap counts, rushing attempts, and role security

Draft pick values are calculated using base round values, Early/Mid/Late slot multipliers, and future year discounts that reflect the uncertainty of picks further into the future.

The Stud Adjustment

One of our most important features is the stud adjustment algorithm. In dynasty fantasy football, consolidating value into fewer elite assets is almost always preferable to spreading value across many average players. Our algorithm reflects this by:

  • Applying a +8% bonus to the top asset when its value exceeds 8,000 (elite tier)
  • Applying a +4% bonus to the top asset when its value is between 6,500–8,000 (solid tier)
  • Applying a depth penalty of -200 for 4+ assets and -300 for 6+ assets on one side

This ensures that a trade like "Ja'Marr Chase for 4 mid-tier players" properly accounts for the real-world dynasty value of owning a single elite asset.
